Tradition

How Spain sees in the new year

At midnight, Spain eats twelve grapes, one on each chime of the clock, for twelve lucky months. The cotillón follows: hats, horns and streamers, then the party.

Dinner starts late and the clubs fill after the grapes. Plan on a long night.
